Morning all,
A disappointing day yesterday, with the NAP and the third best both not running to their standards and the next best could only manage second. I did manage to find some big price places, but that doesn't really pay the bills.
So back to the drawing board for today and I've picked three that should have a good chance of going well. April Dusk was impressive over hurdles last time out on this track and should have the scope to go chasing. The conditions are no problem and Warren Greatex has his yard in good order. The Next Best comes from Fontwell where another first time chaser gets the pick. Vic de Touzaine was beaten over hurdles last time out, but this field is not as competitive. Venetia Williams' horses usually enjoy these conditions as well, so that should be no problem. The final selection is Amenable who is a course and distance winner over at Southwell and ran below form last time out when he was beaten by the impressive Air of York. This should be a chance for him to redeem himself.
