A busy day ahead today, with two grade ones and a number of listed handicaps to get our teeth sunk into. But first lets look bet at yesterday with an especially successful meeting at Sedgefield. Five winners from seven races, although a few short price one, but a nice profit none the less. Over at Exeter the NB and the 3B were both impressive. The latter, Tea For Two, bolted up in an impressive manner earning itself a place in my horse tracker for races to come. The NAP failed to win in a hot race, but wasn't disgraced in fourth either. He just couldn't quicken on the home straight, but the winner was impressive.
A preview for today's big races can be found here so in this blog I'll mention some tracker horses going today as well as the best three selections. First of all Don Poli should have beating of Grand National winner Many Clouds over at Aintree. It's a small field, but Don Poli is a horse I really rate and I expect him to be too strong. At Navan Ttebob was a hugely impressive winner last time out, storming off the front and he is also the NAP today. He's a very exciting horse, jumps well and travels nicely. The final tracker horse is Dawson City. This is more of a long term project, but I feel there's a good horse in there waiting to come out. He was 33/1 for his last start, but managed a good third in similar conditions to what he encounters today. Bristol De Mai should have the beating of the field at Sandown and he's the next best, while I have high regards for Courttown Oscar and he's the third best. Not especially big prices on any of them, but those three selections should have a good chance of winning.
