Reds Racing Tips 07-12

Morning all,

A great weekend of racing behind us (more of that in the weekend review) and a fairly profitable one too. Sunday provided some big winners, including a 14/1 shot that drifted out to 20's! Djakadam also provided me with a winning NAP, although the NB Halo Moon and the 3B Cusheen Bridge both disappointed.

Today's racing does not look particularly exciting, three meetings in total and it's typical Monday fare really. I've gone for Gingili as the NAP today, in the 2.20 at Musselburgh. He's still unbeaten under rules, on a nice mark for his new yard and the jockey takes three pounds off. The Next Best comes from Lingfield in their opener, Burmese Whisper wasn't suited by seven furlongs last time out and drops back down to six furlongs today. He was still ahead until headed in the seventh furlong, so could well run better over this shorter trip. Oisin Murphy is in good form and should give him a good ride. Finally we look at the 2.30 for the third best and I fancy Crystal Malt to run a big race. He's got pace either side of him to aim for from stall seven and he won last time out over a slightly longer trip finishing strongly. He's only gone up two pounds for that win while the favourite Seychelloise has a massive hike to contend with and may find that too much. At 6/1 best price, Crystal Malt is a much more attractive proposition.
