Morning all,
Back at work on a Monday, but hopefully we can find some winners in the afternoon to lift our spirits. Sunday saw the return to form of Sprinter Sacre as he bombed up the hill like the Sprinter of old. Great to see him back and well done Nicky Henderson for keeping the faith. Over in Ireland there was a shock as Faugheen lost his unbeaten record, unable to catch Nichols Canyon. I'm still undecided if Faugheen was bad or Nichols Canyon was good, but I'm sure Rich Ricci will have been scratching his head as his superstar crossed the line. It makes the festival in March already a bit more exciting.
Back to today's action and there's a decent card at Plumpton and another few nice types in action as Leicester as well. On the All Weather at Wolverhampton, Afjaan is back in the 425 and I reckon that'll be a hot race with a few nice horses in it.
