Reds Racing Tips 13-11

Morning All,

Edit: AW selections added

Yesterday was a great result with a few big price winners going in at 20/1, 8/1 and 7/1, thanks to best odds. I've said this before, but it's really worth going with a bookie who does this (and most of them do) as it can make you a few extra quid along the way.

Friday the 13th today, but I hope it's lucky for some. The Open meeting kicks off at Cheltenham, but there's some decent racing elsewhere too and hopefully we can find some winners. Hexam will be a tricky race in the conditions, but the sun is coming out here up North, so maybe it'll dry out a bit more.

The feature of today is at Cheltenham and there's a couple of big fields to get stuck into each way. We start off with a trappy race in the first and you could make a case for about eight or nine of them. Lough Kent should give a good account for Nicky Henderson though and will be the selection. In the 1.40, I'm not convinced by More of That. As De Mee has race fitness after running at Chepstow last month and ran pretty well in that and will be the pick. The 2.15 is a Grade 2 race and despite only having four runners will be an interesting contest. They all have form, but Champers On Ice might just make the most of receiving 7lbs from Penglai Pavillion and is the selection. The 2.50 Cross Country race is another big field and again, there's a number that could make the grade here. My eye however has fallen on Any Currency who loves it at Cheltenham and will give a good account. Of the outsiders, Valadom is an interesting runner. Massive step up in trip, but he looked pretty good on his recent win at Worcester. Loose Chips is another who could do well and runs for the in-form Charlie Longsdon. The penultimate race is a 2m handicap hurdle and Double W's might run a good race at a big price. Wasn't beaten far last time out at Ayr and looks a good jumper. Finally in the last race of the day, I'm going to take a gamble on Mia's Anthem. Three wins this season including the last two and although another rise in the weights, he stamped his authority on the race last time to win by five lengths.

Here's the full list of selections. I'll stick the AW meetings for tonight on the bottom of this later on. Good luck all.
