Not a great day yesterday, three runners made the frame, but none of them could get their head in front. At least the NAP & NB managed to place at an each-way price, but really we'd have preferred to see them win!
Plenty of opportunities to put that right today though, with three meetings of jumping, including a decent looking Galway card over in Ireland. There's two tracker horses going today, Stephanie Frances will have to try and give a load of weight to her rivals in the opener at Worcester, but she's a classy sort and hopefully the can claim the spoils. Over in Galway, Taglietelle is one of three runners for Gordon Elliot in the 6.25. He was well backed last time out, but fell at the first and hopefully he can put that to rights here.
The best three are spread around today and we start at Worcester's 3.10 wher Alyasan is the NAP. A beaten favourite last time out, having bolted up at a seller previously, he'll be looking to get back on track for the Skeltons. He's dropped in class from the last race and should have further improvement in him.
The next best comes from Galway and it's a Mullins/Walsh combination that will hopefully do the job here. Dreambaby won a bumper at this track last year and she ran a decent race at Tramore last time out finishing third. Hopefully she can build on that and go one better.
Finally, the 3B is a bit of a sentimental one and comes from the last at Perth. Mighty Leader was second last time out at Stratford and he will be Sally Randall's last runner in her name before she joins forces with Fergal O'Brien. It would be great for her to go out on a high and her horse certainly has a chance to do so under Brodie Hampson
