A profitable day yesterday, mainly thanks to three winners and a place at Plumpton. The NAP and the NB both hit the post though, finishing second in the respective races. Tracker horse Sunshine Corner ran out an easy winner.
For today, we are again limited to two meetings as Exeter is the latest to fall victim to the weather. Two best bets then, one from each meeting and Un Noble is my hot favourite to take the 2.35 at Ayr. Nicky Richards' charge has a good record over this sort of trip, never being out of the frame and could take all the beating here. He won well over at Southwell last time out and has only gone up three pounds for that. He's only lightly raced as well and still have scope for improvement.
The Next Best comes from Southwell, where Crosse Fire looks a big price at 5/1. A sprinter in excellent form, he won two on the trot, the last one under a penalty. Both those wins came at this track as well and in total he's three from six with two more places to boot. He's off a career high mark, but the way he's been racing, suggests he's not done winning just yet.
