Morning all,
Pretty good day yesterday, with both the NAP and the NB winning. We nearly claimed a clean sweep, but Royal Normandy was denied by a neck as the 3B. Still a twelve point profit for the day is tidy and puts us back on the right track for the month after a poor weekend.
Only two meetings again today and is pretty dire stuff again. I've struggled to find an angle to most of these races and it looks like the market has it pretty spot on. In light of that, I've only got one bet for the day. Celtic Intrigue can make it four from four for David Bridgewater in the 2.00 at Ludlow. The heavy ground is a bit of a concern, but this is the improving horse in the race and at 4/1 best price (Stan James), he's a bit more value than his two market rivals. Garde La Victoire is the only tracker horse today and he should make light work of the 3.00.
Let's hope the weather eases up a bit and we get a bit more racing, because some of this fare is not particularly heart-warming.
