Reds Racing Tips 08-01-2016

Morning all,

Marginal profit yesterday, but profit none the less. Disappointingly, nothing again from the best three as we continue the dry spell in that regard. 

Today sees us take in more all-weather action with two jumps meetings called off due to the conditions and it doesn't look like the weather is quite done with us yet. 

We go for some bigger prices today with the best bets, the NAP being priced at 7/1 at the minute. Go Charlie was a good winner at Wolverhampton in mid December, finishing strongly before being stuck in an unfortunate position following up at the same track being slowly away. If he gets a good start this time, he could make the most of a three pound drop in the weights in the 2.10 at Lingfield.

The Next Best is Mysteree in the 2.25 at Doncaster. He won easily at Wetherby over a shorter trip in similar conditions albeit that was a two runner race. That was his first appearance after a long absence, so the bounce factor is a concern. He does have a good record in heavy going (two from three) and he could defy top weight to claim a big prize at 6/1

Finally we go to the all weather at Dundalk where Brokopondo has a good chance in the 8.30. A winner over C&D last time out, he's held his form well and should remain competitive off this mark. A seven pound claimer on board will certainly help his cause and at 11/2, there's still a bit of value in the price.
