Reds Racing Tips 13-01

Morning all,

Marginal profit again yesterday, mainly thanks to a couple of winners at Lingfield, hopefully we can kick on from that again today. Three meetings, after we lost Newcastle to the weather. Let's look at the best three bets, one from each meeting today.

First up is Pull the Chord in the 3.10 at Taunton. He gets the NAP treatment today, despite a 10 lbs rise in the weights. He won on his only start here, in the same race last year. He's only been seen once since then, but it was a winning run at Exeter in November. That was his third win from five hurdles races and he seemed to relish the conditions. A repeat of last year's efforts are certainly not beyond him and he is the most likely pick.

We go to Chelmsford's 2.55 for the NB and Oakley Girl is still unbeaten on the all-weather. It's her first run at Chelmsford, but her two previous polytrack wins suggest that it shouldn't be a problem here. Stuart Williams' team is in good shape and the biggest danger is probably stable mate Pactolus. But I fancy Oakly Girl to go in again despite her penalty.

Finally it's off to Kempton for the lucky last and Fairy Mist has a good chance off top weight. He finished well to come fourth last time out, despite a poor draw and sluggish start. The race before that, he finished off strongly as well and a repeat of those two efforts could well see him break his losing run in an low-grade race
