Reds Racing Tips 27-01

Morning all,

A mixed day yesterday, but we ended on a narrow profit for the day. The NAP was disappointing, running out of steam after leading much of the early proceedings. The NB stayed on strongly to claim the win, having travelled in mid division for most of the way 'round. Finally, the 3B was at the back of the pack, but stayed on to finish fourth. A bit further up the track could've seen him claim a valuable place.

For today, the NAP comes from Catterick's 3.35. Nautical Twilight is in search of a hattrick for Malcolm Jefferson having been a ten length winner over C&D previous. This is a tricky race, with plenty of C&D form, but the manner of victory of the selection was impressive last time out and he can defy an 8lb rise to complete the hattrick.

We go to Kempton next for the 6.10. Kingsley Klarion was somewhat disappointing last time out at Lingfield, but still finished second. He still holds an excellent All-Weather record and is sure to get a decent pace to aim at here. All that, combined with the plum draw in stall one and Joe Fanning on board and this can surely be a winning combination.

We stay at Kempton for the 3B. Russian Bolero has been hard to win with, but has ran in much higher Grade stuff than this abroad, including the German Derby. That isn't necessarily as massive boost to his chances, but his second place last time out at Lingfield was a good effort, despite a slow start. A better break here could see him improve on that.
