Reds Racing Tips 12-02

Morning all, 

Another winning NAP yesterday as Baoulet Delaroque managed to hold off Value At Risk at Huntingdon, but the NB and the 3B couldn't follow up. But we managed to come out of the day with another profit, so no complaints from me.

Bangor is off today, so that leaves us with two jumps meetings in the afternoon and two all-weather in the evevening.

We start at Wetherby today for the NAP. King of the Wolds has been running well of late, but found the extra distance a bit too far in heavy ground at Haydock last time out. Now back to three miles, he could bounce back for Malcolm Jefferson. The yard continues to be in good shape and despite top weight, the selection should make a bold bid here.

Next we go to Wolverhampton where Dougan is the NB in the 7.45. It's a hot race, with a few last time out winners and plenty of C&D form. The selection has won in three of his five starts, although his only appearance here was a losing one, finishing second to the re-opposing My Target. Adam Kirby is back on board for this race though and he's already won twice on this horse.

Finally we go for a speculative one in the last race at Kempton. Le Dauphin is well related, out of Robin Des Champs (stallion of Vautour amongst others) and an unraced sister to Denman. That makes him a half-brother to the useful Polly Peachum. Trainer Nicky Henderson has a pretty decent record in bumpers and if this one is anything as good as either of his relations, he could go far. As I said, it's one for a bit of speculation, but at the prices, it's worth an each way poke.
