Reds Racing Tips 11-04

Morning all,

Back into the blogging action today. Three meetings on Monday after Tramore was abandoned to the elements, but it's two flat meetings on the turf and a jumps meeting to get stuck into. I'm by no means an flat expert, but we'll give it a bash.

Three best picks today and it's one from each meeting. We start with the NAP running at Kelso. Mysteree was a good fourth in the Eider last time out. Drops down significantly in class today, but has a fair weight in 11-8 with Grant Cockburn taking off a further five. He's won twice over fences this season, although he'd probably prefer softer ground than it is today. His class should see him through though. The main competition will probably be Nakadam who comes here with a very low weight and ran a decent second last time out.

The Next Best comes from Windsor in the shape of Rex Bell. Frankie takes the ride for John Gosden. He ran a decent third over a mile last time out at Newbury and this step up in trip and a stiffer stamina test could well suit him. The obvious dangers are Ballet Concerto with Ryan Moore on board and filly Mountain Bell for Ray Beckett. At 6/1 though I'm happy to take the selection each way and ensure some profit even if he can only place.

The final selection comes from Redcar's 3.30. Miss van Gogh is three from four in similar conditions and four from six over this distance. She's never ran at Redcar and the inexperienced claimer is a potential cause for concern but at 6/1, she's a good price considering her stats. Mystic Miraaj from the bottom of the weights would be the main danger, having previously shown to be suited by these conditions.
