Reds Racing Tips 18-04

Morning all,

I've had a busy weekend so sadly no blogs went out. But we're back with a bang (hopefully) today in order to make up for that. Bumper six meeting day today as evening racing really ramps up again. I'm going to have my work cut out from now on!

Today's NAP runs at Windsor in the shape of October Storm. Mick Channon's three year old won well last time out on the all weather at Kempton and with De Souza retaining the ride he could have more to come. I don't think the tricky conditions will be a problem for him and he's still open to improvement.

The NB is Kayf Willow over at Newton Abbot. A winner over C&D in similar conditions under Richard Johnson, she steps back up in trip after failing to make the grade in a hot race at Taunton over slightly shorter. She'll have been kept for these sort of conditions and with the talented Ciaran Gethings taking five lbs off, she could be well in here.

Finally, I'm going for the well bred Heartful for the powerful combination of Smullen and Weld over at Dundalk's 7.00. She starts with a tongue tie, but if her breeding is anything to go on, she should have the measure of these.
