Morning all,
A great day yesterday as I managed to find seven winners, including two at 8/1, to make a total profit of 31.40 points. It's a shame Kempton took some off the shine of the afternoon, finding only one winner there after six winners and four each way places at Lingfield and Leicester. Not such good results on the three best bets though. Clovelly Bay didn't get a clear run and could only managed seventh, while Hedley Lamarr could manage no better than third. The next best did manage to score, Edward Elgar drifting out to 7/2 to provide us with at least one winning selection
Today's a bumper five meetings day and the best three bets are laid out below. The NAP today is Evan Williams' Barrakilla, running at Taunton in the 3.10. First run since the festival in March, but both the yard and jockey Adam Wedge are in pretty good form. He's won off a break before and should enjoy the conditions. Two good runs around this time last year and with the form the yard is in, it's hard to discount him.
The Next Best is running at Warwick in the 2.30. Cyclop had the race at his mercy last time out, only to fall two out. I don't normally go for fallers, but this horse was so impressive, that I'm not put off. If David Dennis' charge has recovered from that, he should bolt up again here, that's how impressive he was. Aiden Coleman takes the ride again and he's having a good season as well.
The Third best bet, I've gone for Kilcrea at Punchestown. He should enjoy conditions as they are today and was looking to be going well when he fell two out last time out. Davy Russell is on board and he was also the jockey when this horse won last. Further down on this card, two tracker horses in Thomas Hobson and Min run, with the latter making his long awaited appearance.
